Description
I am looking to spread information about upcoming programming through the J. Erik Jonsson Central Library. The downtown library is hosting a certification workshop on Saturday, March 4 at 10:30 am.

The Angler Educator Certification through the Texas Parks and Wildlife Division is geared towards community leaders (18 +) who that want to learn how to teach youth to fish.

The class is free and open to the public, and is about 4 hours long. Participants should bring a packed lunch. Registration is necessary as space is limited and can be done through the Dallas Public Library’s Events Calendar.

If you are interested in learning more about the program I invite you to look at the TPWD website: http://tpwd.texas.gov/education/angler-education Or to register for the for the workshop through the Dallas Public Library’s Calendar of Events for March 4: http://dallaslibrary.evanced.info/eventcalendar.asp

Participants must be 18 and older. In order to obtain certification through Texas Parks and Wildlife Division, a background check is required, but can be submitted after the course.
