A minimum salary of $55,000/year commensurate with experience and qualifications, and an incentive program. Benefits include paid vacation, simple IRA contribution, worker's compensation, and health insurance.

The Development Director will work under the supervision and direction of the Sutton Center's Board and Executive Director to raise funds, develop strategic funding methods, write grants, and to act as liaison with private, non-profit, and business contributors. The person will identify and nurture prospective donor and supporter contacts, as well as develop and coordinate special events. This includes publicity, guest hosting, travel and contract arranging, venue sourcing, budget preparation, invitations, and other related duties.
The person will work alongside other staff, presently 13 employees, not to mention some very cool birds. WANTED: A dynamic, well spoken, and personable individual to direct fundraising and development programs, and to coordinate special events for the G.M.
