We are seeking a candidate with prior research experience, preferably with herpetofauna, to assist with a field project related to salamander species distribution and community composition in headwater streams. Job duties include assisting in nocturnal surveys, with both data collection and input. Successful applicants will be detail-oriented, have strong organizational skills, and will be willing and able to hike at night, in adverse conditions. Applicants will have the opportunity to develop and implement their own projects, along with primary duties of appointment, if so desired, thus highly motivated undergraduates are encouraged to apply.

Dates are from mid-May to Early August, though official start and end dates are flexible.
