PondMedics manages approximately 15,000 surface acres of water annually for clients such as private land owners, homeowners associations, golf courses, municipalities, government agencies, fishing clubs and more. PondMedics provides many lake services such as aquatic vegetation control, fountain and aerator installation and repair, fisheries management, lake mapping and more. Most work is performed within a 100 mile radius of the DFW metroplex with the occasional overnight trip required.

Job Description
A Floating Fountain Technician is responsible for mostly Fountain troubleshoot, Maintenance, and repair of the many floating fountains we service. The Technician is mostly focused on urban lake management with the highest priority being aesthetically pleasing ponds and lakes within neighborhoods and parks which these fountains and aerators play a huge role in keeping these ponds and lakes aesthetically pleasing. This person will be responsible for making several service calls per day troubleshooting issues with the fountains and/or aerators for our clients and making the correct recommendation for repair or replacement. The technician will also be required to install new equipment to our new clients as those come in to the job que. Trash pickup and disposal is another important aspect of keeping a pond or lake aesthetically pleasing and the Aquatic Technician will help with this effort.

Candidate Qualifications
- High school diploma or higher education
- Electrical Background is recommended
- Mechanically inclined – equipment maintenance and field repairs
- Practices personal accountability, integrity and honesty at all times, in everything
Ability to work in extreme conditions – around water (swimming ability required), hot and cold weather conditions, ability to lift 100 pounds, Manual Labor
- Equipment aptitudes – ability to learn and navigate large trucks (no CDL required) and trailers, boats and other equipment while multitasking
- Computer skills – iPad, iPhone, Mac computers, MS Outlook, MS Excel, Evernote, internet browsers

Compensation
- Hourly compensated position commensurate on experience ($15 - $18/hour)
- First three months of employment is a probationary period whereby, if kept on after the probationary period, an immediate 5% raise is given
- There is an opportunity for a technician who knows about pumps and other aquatic electromechanical systems to be compensated a premium and is the most qualified candidate.

Work Hours
- Monday through Friday work week, with the occasional Saturday work necessary
- Overnight travel required occasionally
- General work hours are 6 am to 4 pm
