Summary: Join the team at Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge and represent the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service for this unique internship opportunity. Assist refuge staff with a diverse spectrum of tasks associated with the waterfowl and deer hunt programs. Tasks may include the construction and maintenance of hunting blinds, parking lots, and refuge signage. Interns also staff early morning hunter check-in and assist on site preview days. Good physical condition and knowledge of state hunting laws is preferred. 40 hours per week; free housing; $150/week stipend
