Loomacres Wildlife Inc. is looking for a wildlife biologist. The position is full time permanent. Working under a lead biologist, the selected candidate will be responsible for performing nuisance wildlife monitoring and mitigation on airfield projects.
bachelor's degree in wildlife biology, wildlife management, range management, biology, ecology, zoology or a closely related field. Candidates should possess excellent bird identification skills by both sight and sound. Candidates with should have a minimum of 1 year experience performing wildlife hazard mitigation or conducting wildlife hazard assessments. Must have prior experience with wildlife trapping/handling and firearm use.
Candidates with a strong work ethic, ability to work outside in inclement weather, work irregular hours, perform tasks independently, and have experience writing technical reports are preferred.
