Responsibilities for this intern position will include, but not limited to the fallowing tasks.
The everyday overseeing and feeding of the breeding facility, and monitoring of herd health. Watching for fawn when first born for tagging and herd tracking. Weekly up keep of Ranch Headquarters. Filling of protein feeders and troughs, as well as repairs to them. Fence repairs across the ranch, including low fence and high fence. Some mechanical work will be done on ranch vehicles and equipment. including trucks, atvs, jeeps, tractors.....
A large part of what we do is improving the Ranch for Wildlife Habitat. Which includes spraying brush, planting fields, clearing brush with heavy equipment.
Individual must be a self starter and willing to work hard in the summer heat. At times lifting 50+ pounds will be necessary. Some job experience with the above job description would be ideal.
Must work well with Ranch staff and ALWAYS be respectful.
Looking for person wanting to make a future in this industry.
Wildlife Management and similar Degree students would be ideal.
