TGR Exotics Wildlife Park

This internship is a broad based internship and focuses on many aspects of the park. Interns will do everything from assisting keepers, training for tours, assisting and learning outreach programs, animal training, general animal care and husbandry, basic medical treatment and more.
This is 5 days a week and 40+ hours.
Must work weekends and holidays.
No vacation time will be scheduled during your internship.
Must be able to work outdoors during Texas summer (100+).
Must be able to have a professional appearance.
MUST HAVE COMMON SENSE.
Internships are a minimum of 12 weeks to 6 months.
Summer: Mid-May to Mid-August
Fall: August to December
Winter:December to March
Spring: March to May
We are flexible on months but must meet the minimum of 12 weeks
Intern should be working towards/or have a degree in Zoology, Biology or related field or a degree in a related field is preferred, but experience with exotic animal husbandry may be considered.
Must be 18 years old.
Completed first year of college or graduate.
Must have a valid driver license and transportation.
Must Provide their own housing.
Clean background check
Hard Worker: willingness to learn and grow which will require hard work!
Able to work in all weather conditions, lift 50 lbs etc
Able to follow instructions
Able to work as a team or by oneself.
