- We are currently looking for Individuals who would like to take parts in our Antler cuts and Artificial Insemination work days. Antler cuts will take place in late Sept and early October and AI work will take place on 3 main days. CIDR In and CIDR out and the AI day. Those who volunteer and selected, depending on their availability will be able to help out during this process. From moving deer to giving vaccinations, carrying deer, to maybe depending on abilities holding a live deer with help while the antlers are being cut.
- Qualifications
- The preferred volunteers must be good listeners and able to follow directions. Not afraid of animals. Must be okay with getting dirty and sweating some. The work will get done regardless of weather conditions. Male and females are welcomed. Those chosen must be hard workers and care about the welfare of the animals being worked.
