- Aquatic Control Inc. is a privately owned lake and pond management company with a main office in Seymour, Indiana, and satellite offices in Valparaiso, Indiana, St. Louis, Missouri, Elizabethtown, Kentucky, Evansville, Indiana, Memphis, Tennessee, and Springfield, Illinois. Aquatic Control has been in the lake and pond management business for 56 years. Our staff consists of fisheries biologists and technicians with a combined 500+ years of experience in aquatic vegetation management, fisheries management, product sales, and aquatic ecosystem management. We are hiring a full-time entry-level aquatic technician that will be stationed at our Seymour, IN, office. Duties to include the following: -Application of EPA registered aquatic herbicides and algaecides -General maintenance of trucks, boats, equipment, and grounds -Equipment maintenance on boats, pumps, and other equipment -Installation and maintenance of aerators, fountains, and compressed air systems -Completion of fish management surveys via electrofishing
- Qualifications
- High school diploma (some college coursework is a plus) Ability to drive a truck while trailering a boat Basic mechanical ability (experience in outboard motor operation is a plus) Ability to work in an outdoor environment (physical labor required) Strong work ethic and ability to work an average of 50 hours per week
