Graduate Research Project in Aquatic Ecology. The successful candidate can either develop their own project (any trophic level from bacteria-fish or amphibians) or chose from topics such as ‘Algae for Biomass Production / Wastewater Remediation’, ‘Shrimp-Algae Aquaponic System’, ‘Large Invertebrates in Playa Lakes’, ‘Riparian Enhancement’, ‘Ecology of Desert Sinkholes’ and others.
B.S. degree in Aquatic Ecology or related field, and strong interest in aquatic systems and their functioning. Applicants should also have demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills and/or quantitative skills as well as an ability to work independently. Minimum academic qualifications: undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or greater.
