The Forestry Management Technologies Department at Horry-Georgetown Technical College is seeking applicants for an Associate Professor, Forestry position beginning Spring 2022. Teaching load is up to 24 contact hours per semester. Courses in forestry and wildlife management are taught with applications in ArcGIS and drone technology. Must be able to function in a diverse environment characterized by continual changes in forestry.
Bachelor's degree in Forestry or closely related natural resource field.
Preferred: Master's degree in Forestry or closely related natural resource field with professional and/or teaching experience; excellent writing and effective communication skills; teaching experience.
