Research on topics related to avian ecology such as, but are not limited to, (1) forest management and avian community responses, (2) stopover ecology of migratory birds, (3) breeding ecology of Cerulean Warbler, or other related topics. The starting date is flexible, with the possibility to start as soon as possible. The candidate will be supported by a Research Assistantship ($20,000 yearly) and an out-of-state tuition waiver. We seek a motivated and self-driven graduate student in good physical condition. Training of identify birds by sounds or sightings is desired. Prior bird research experience is a necessity. Expect rigors and unpredictable field situations, possible early mornings work on a regular basis. A good driving record.
