- Description
- Biological technicians will collect ecological data in small plots in southern Colorado in mountainous terrain in two person crews. Biologists will utilize GPS instrumentation. Hiking to some plots will be required. Training in the data collection protocol will be provided. the data will be utilized to develop wildfire management plans. Camping per diem and wages will be provided. Company will provide vehicles. The project is anticipated to start in early to mid-May.
- Qualifications
- Biological technicians will have at least one year of college courses in biology, forestry, botany or related field. At least one field season of field experience preferred. Experience using GPS preferred. Plant identification skills preferred. Good communication skills and ability to work well with others.
