- Title: Biological Technician - Dugway Proving Ground, Utah Location: Dugway Proving Ground, Utah Full job description: https://jobs.colostate.edu/postings/109217 Full Consideration Application Date: 08/15/2022 Salary Range: $38,000-$48,000 Position Summary: A Biological Technician position, with emphasis on wildlife and restoration ecology, is available with the Center for Environmental Management of Military Lands (CEMML). This position will support implementation of natural resource management activities associated with the Integrated Natural Resource Management Plan (INRMP) at Dugway Proving Ground, Utah. - Qualifications
- Required Qualifications: • The successful candidate must have a minimum of four years of full-time professional experience in natural resources management, wildlife biology or closely related field. • A High school Diploma, General Education Development (GED), or equivalent. • Experience operating and maintaining heavy and light equipment. • Background in greenhouse management and native plant propagation. • Experience with water quality sample collection. • Experience with wildland fire fuel analysis and management. • Experience supporting wildlife and habitat surveys. • Physically able to work outdoors and perform strenuous labor under all weather conditions (e.g., heat and humidity). Able to lift 40 pounds repeatedly. • Must have a valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain a driver’s license by the employment start date. • The successful candidate must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. by proposed start date; CEMML will not provide visa sponsorship for this position.
