Biological technician will conduct rangeland surveys in southern Utah. Biologists will work in two person crews. Biologists will identify plant species in small plots and collect other ecological data. Data will be entered into a tablet in the field. The biologists will camp for this project. The company will provide vehicle and GPS instrumentation. Per diem and wages will be paid. The project will start in early Utah and extend through November.
Biologists should have at least a year of college education in range, botany, biology or related field with at least one field season of experience. Skills in plant identification desirable. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Experience using GPS desirable. Send resume with three references in one file designated with your name.
