Lead banding operations at the Kingston Wildlife Research Station in Kingston, RI, an 82 acre research station near the Univ of Rhode Island campus. In charge of operating 10 mist nets daily from 7 Aug to 31 Oct for 5 hrs each morning. Typically ~1,000 birds are processed each fall. Also responsible for training undergraduate students (1 student per morning) in ageing/sexing birds and mist netting techniques.
Extensive experience operating mist nets, and ageing/sexing songbirds and related species during fall migration in eastern North America is required. Experience training volunteers is preferred.
