This position assists in the development, evaluation and implementation of the statewide Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) management program. Effective direction for the program involves a large workload of collaboration, communication and organization. This position will work with professional wildlife biologists and technical staff involved in the management of CWD. Timely completion of this workload requires an employee dedicated to these tasks on a full-time basis to maintain timeliness and quality of work products essential to the management of this complicated disease.
•Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Wildlife Biologist 1; OR A Master's Degree with a major in Wildlife Management and one year experience as a wildlife biologist OR A Bachelor's Degree with a major in Wildlife Management, and a minimum of three years experience in wildlife management research.
•Necessary Special Requirement: Possession of a valid Class C Driver's License
