Fill and maintain corn and protein feeders.
Assist with wildlife surveys for deer, axis, and migratory birds
Scout wildlife for hunting season
Hunting season duties including skinning and cape preparation
Assist with maintenance and management of water in wetlands
Cleaning of ranch vehicles and facilities.
Application of herbicides for habitat management
Maintenance and upkeep of ranch equipment and facilities
Heavy equipment operation and maintenance (tractors, skid steers, bulldozer)
Fence construction, repair, and maintenance
Assist with any and other ranch activities as assigned by ranch and/or wildlife managers to aid in the development and startup process of ranching and wildlife operations
Ranch vehicle provided during work hours.
Housing provided, all utilities paid.
College students and/or recent graduates in a wildlife or related degree plan. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated person with a strong work ethic and a ranch background with bow hunting experience. Applicants should have good people skills. This position may require working hours in adverse weather conditions. Candidates must maintain a valid driver’s license and Texas hunting license. Applicants are subject to background checks.
