Nova Conservation is a new organization on a mission to connect all people with wildlife and environmental adventures. We are on the cusp of launching our match-making site that helps anyone find conservation opportunities, whether it's a hour long beach cleanup or a month long eco-tourism expedition. This site is for professional biologists to a casual conservationist, and everyone in between. Our vision is to be the "one-stop shop" website connecting users to unique trips involving conservation, ethical travel, and environmental eco-tourism. This is an exciting opportunity to help a conservation start-up. Additionally, the skills provided from this opportunity will give you an edge in the competitive conservation job market.​ Our Digital Marketing Intern will: -Post, communicate, represent Nova Conservation on many social media platforms (i.e. Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) -Compose and create engaging email marketing campaigns with strategy guidance -Integrate with our current team of marketing consultants, while able to work independently to produce deliverables -Increase brand awareness -Implement a digital marketing strategy for crowd-funding platforms (i.e. Kickstarter, Fundable, Kiva, etc.) -Able to use CRM platforms, such as Hubspot -Participate in weekly meetings
We hope to have an intern with the following experience: -Bachelors in Communications, Marketing, or related field (or working toward degree) -Demonstrated SEO experience and meta-tag knowledge -Demonstrated use of Facebook Business tools and digital advertising -Use of Google and Social Advertisements & ability to understand analytics -Working knowledge of CRM and email marketing automation -Well-developed Google Docs and Microsoft Office skills -A basic understanding of brand connection -Strong organizational skills -Strong communication & interpersonal skills -Ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams -Ability to execute accurate work in a timely manner -Self-starter -Partnership Development skills -Strategic thinking -A willingness to learn Nova Conservation will provide a recommendation at the successful completion of this internship.
