The Dune Restoration Specialist – Crew Member performs and participates in preserve operations, maintenance and management. S/he will work as part of a field crew to implement invasive species control at sites located along the Lake Michigan shoreline in the Northwest Lower Peninsula of Michigan. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications • High school diploma and 6 months of related experience. • Experience operating various types of equipment in a safe and efficient manner (e.g. Lawn mower, chainsaw, tractor, two-way radio, etc). • Must be able to obtain related licenses or certifications as required. (e.g. First Aid, CPR, herbicide application, and driver’s license). Preferred Qualifications • Ability to follow instructions from colleagues/coworkers/team members. • Ability to work in a team environment. • Multi-lingual skills and multi-cultural or cross-cultural experience appreciated.
