- *The Environmental / Natural Resource Project Manager has the ability to work out of a TRC Office in Oklahoma or Texas. With one of the largest multimedia air and land permitting and compliance teams in the country, we support client success in manufacturing and industry, liquids delivery and processing, natural gas storage and delivery, power generation and delivery, and transportation projects. POSITION SUMMARY TRC is seeking an Environmental / Natural Resource Project Manager to help grow our national electric transmission siting and permitting team in Tulsa, OK. This successful candidate must be passionate about their work, driven by intellectual curiosity, and strive to work collectively to best serve our clients and help create the future of our communities in meaningful and sustainable ways. The successful candidate will support development, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of key permitting programs to support quality and strategic growth plans. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS • The successful applicant will be involved in a wide variety of projects including transportation, electric transmission, natural gas pipeline, municipal, and renewable energy (wind/solar) generation projects. • Permitting projects at the federal, state, and local levels. • Lead wetland and waterway delineations and author technical reports. • Perform threatened and endangered species habitat and species level surveys and author technical reports. Consult with USFWS and state agencies for project compliance. • Be able to effectively coordinate field work, direct and support other technical staff, interact with clients, stakeholders, and contractors, and manage projects, budgets, invoicing, and schedules. • Abide by Company policies and procedures. • Other duties and special projects as assigned.
- Qualifications
- QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES • Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree in environmental science, natural resources, biology, ecology, or related field, and 6 to 10 years of post-degree experience. • Experience leading and authoring wetland and waterway delineations. • Strong ability to prioritize, organize, and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously. • Knowledge of and ability to apply environmental compliance and permitting regulations of applicable regulatory agencies, including, the EPA, USACE, USFWS, FERC • Excellent verbal communication and technical communication skills are mandatory. • Ability to maintain a positive attitude working under aggressive schedules. • The candidate must have a strong ability to prioritize, organize, and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously. • The ability to prepare clear and concise reports, procedures, correspondence, and other written materials is also required. • Experience managing Projects and teams in Texas and Oklahoma A preferred candidate will hold one or more of the following qualifications: • Master's degree or above in environmental science, natural resources, biology, ecology, or related field, and over 10 years of post-degree experience. • Certified Professional Wetland Scientist (PWS) • Certified Wildlife Biologist (CWB) • Project Management Professional (PMP) TRC is an equal opportunity employer: disability/veteran.
