The Environmental Resources Supervisor will serve as the functional manager providing direct supervision and oversight to GSRC’s technical staff, including senior managers. The Environmental Resources Supervisor will be responsible for cost and technical proposal preparation, business development activities, marketing of clients and contracts, managing assigned task order contracts, conducting final quality control reviews of project deliverables, and participating in GSRC business direction decisions such as go/no go decisions on proposals and projects. He/she will also conduct staff performance evaluations, oversee scheduling and project assignments, assist in professional development of other staff, and provide professional guidance for assigned staff. The Environmental Resources Supervisor must have a solid understanding of NEPA, natural and cultural resources management, civil works plan formulation and studies, and military environmental planning. It is expected that the Environmental Resources Supervisor will have an average annual time sold of at least 50 percent.
The Environmental Resources Supervisor will have an advanced degree in the sciences, economics or planning and at least 15 years of relevant experience, including 10 years of project management experience. Experience with managing IDIQ contracts for NEPA, natural resources, cultural resources, or water resources planning, with USACE, AFCEC, NAVFAC, FEMA, state DOTs, or other similar Federal agencies is also required.
