Description
In-Sync Exotics is verified by the Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries and accredited by the American Sanctuary Association. We currently are home to over 76 exotic cats including lions, tigers, leopards, cougars, lynx, servals, bobcats, and cheetahs. We are looking for an experienced Vet Tech to fill a position immediately. Does not need exotic experience but must have clinical experience. Duties will include working closely with our full-time veterinary to provide medical care to our 76 resident cats and working closely with the keeper team. Strong work ethic required. Will work throughout the year in varying weather conditions that range from excessive heat in the summer to extreme cold in the winter. Must be physically fit to enable lifting, bending, cleaning, carrying items up to a weight of 50lbs, etc. This job may require efforts outside of the normal workday to aid in emergencies. Requirements: Associates or Bachelors in a biological field. Experience working with animals, experience working with exotics a plus. Veterinary technician experience. Physically fit, able to lift 50lbs. Must be able to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, pull, push, and use repetitive motions. Comfortable working in varied weather conditions.
