Candidate will be assisting a M.S. student with feral swine trapping and stomach collection and assisting Felsenthal NWR with feral swine removal using various methods. Primary Duties: 1. Scouting for feral swine activity 2. Moving, setting, and managing traps 3. Feral swine stomach collection 4. Dispatching feral swine 5. Other duties may arise as necessary Housing and field transportation provided Term- January through May 2021 (5 months)
1. Possess a valid driver’s license 2. Able to work in extreme conditions and remote areas 3. Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs 4. Have experience with handling and discharging firearms 5. Have experience operating a ATV/UTV 6. Have experience operating a 4-wheel drive vehicle 7.
