- Position Overview : Assist with monitoring and maintenance of greenhouse and field experiments. Job Description : Primary duties will include root slide preparation and scoring, root scanning, field plot maintenance, collecting plant and soil samples, processing plant and soil samples, and data entry. Approximately 70% field work and 30% greenhouse.
- Qualifications
- Data collection and entry requires focus and attention to detail. The work can be physically demanding and may require long periods of sitting, standing, or kneeling. Tolerance to Kansas summer conditions (insects and heat). Valid driver's license is necessary. Interest in ecology, agriculture, plants, or soils. Excepting applications until May 1st, but position will be filled as soon as April 1st if a qualified candidate is found.
