Aid in monitoring the success of habitat management activities on California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) managed wildlife areas and lands enrolled in private land incentive programs by quantifying the ecological benefits of various management activities.
Aid in quantifying various habitat types occurring on CDFW wildlife areas and lands enrolled in private land incentive programs.
Assist wildlife areas with monitoring and operational duties associated with management of wetlands and associated habitats.
Assist in maintaining accurate records of operations; wetland flood-up schedules and monitoring efforts occurring on CDFW wildlife areas and lands enrolled in private land incentive programs.
Aid in administrative duties associated with agreements and contracts with landowners enrolled in private land incentive programs.
The position requires a valid California Drivers License (CDL). You must answer the questions addressing your CDL on your application. Ensure you provide your CDL number, class, expiration date, and any endorsements and/or restrictions.
Two years of college with 10 semester units in biology or other natural resource related studies
Good scientific writing and communication skills
Basic knowledge of computer programs "Word" and "Excel"
Possession of a valid California driver's license
