The Wyoming Game and Fish Department seeks to fill two positions to assist with fish culture duties, facility maintenance, and grounds keeping at the Wyoming Game and Fish Department’s fish hatcheries. One position will last 9 months and the other for 6 months.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The listed functions are illustrative only and are not intended to describe every function which may be performed at the job level.
Duties will include, but not be limited to, fish rearing unit cleaning, fish feeding, fish distribution, and various other fish culture activities.
These positions will also assist with maintaining the grounds, equipment, and buildings.

NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
These positions require working in various environmental conditions, using various tools and equipment, and some heavy lifting may be required.
Successful applicants for employment must pass a background check before appointment.
The 9 month position will run from March 1st to November 30th at the Speas Hatchery. A camper is provided for housing at no charge to the employee.
The 6 month position will run from April 1st to September 30th. Work will be divided between the Ten Sleep and Wigwam Hatcheries. A house is provided at no charge to the employee.
Applicants should be interested in and pursuing a career in fisheries, wildlife, or resource management.
No previous fish culture experience is required..
