The Brewer lab at Oklahoma State University is seeking a research technician to assist with multiple stream research projects. The position will start ASAP and be for a six-month duration. Duties will include data organization and management, fish sampling and tracking, and various laboratory tasks. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience and participate in various aspects of stream research with a large, diverse lab.
B.S. in fisheries, aquatic sciences, or related field. Qualified applicants must be proficient with MS Excel and have at least a basic familiarity with ArcMap. Flexibility, good attention to detail, and the willingness to spend long hours on data management tasks are required. Previous field experience, particularly in streams, is desirable but not required.
