The Hood Lab is recruiting one M.S. student to work on research that examines linkages among watershed land use, reservoir age, hypoxia, and sport fish recruitment in Ohio reservoirs.
The ideal candidates will be highly motivated and honest, with strong quantitative skills, an interest in ecosystem or fisheries ecology, and a background in ecology, fisheries, and/or aquatic science. I seek to maintain a productive, diverse, and team-orientated lab group and especially encourage students from under-represented groups to consider joining the lab. Two years of graduate research assistantship support are available including a stipend of ~$2,400 per month, health benefits, and a tuition/fee waiver.
