Description
We are a new environmental consulting non-profit seeking a motivated and dedicated intern to assist in grant writing and fundraising efforts. The grant writing intern will work closely with our team to research, write, and submit grant proposals to a variety of foundations, corporations, and government agencies. Responsibilities: -Research and identify potential grant opportunities that align with our mission and programs Assist in developing grant proposals, budgets, and supporting documents -Collaborate with staff and volunteers to gather information necessary for grant proposals -Communicate with funders to provide additional information or answer questions related to grant proposals -Monitor and track grant submission deadlines and progress Assist in the planning and execution of fundraising events and campaigns To apply, please submit a cover letter, resume, and writing sample to waves.bio@gmail.com. Qualifications
-Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field such as environmental studies, non-profit management, communications, or a similar discipline -Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail -Excellent research and analytical skills -Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment -Experience with grant writing, fundraising, or related areas is a plus -Passion for environmental conservation and sustainability -This is an unpaid internship with a commitment of 10-15 hours per week for a minimum of three months. The grant writing intern will gain hands-on experience in grant writing, fundraising, and non-profit management while contributing to our mission of promoting environmental sustainability.
