Supervisory Fish Biologist at one of four National Fish Hatcheries: Dwight D. Eisenhower National Fish Hatchery (Vermont), Harrison Lake National Fish Hatchery (Virginia), Garrison Dam National Fish Hatchery (North Dakota), Leadville National Fish Hatchery (Colorado). Would be responsible for oversight of all operations and maintenance at two hatcheries; develops, implements, evaluates, and directs the entire aquatic species propagation and restoration programs.
Bachelors degree and at least one year at GS 12 or equivalent level.
Skill in planning, organizing, coordinating, and communicating with various stakeholders.
Knowledge of fishery and aquatic biology.
Ability to conduct fishery research and management investigations.
Skill in communicating technical information with various audiences.
