With your experience you will work closely with other team members and agency supervisors/managers to ensure accuracy of employee information and correspondence. Duties Our Human Resource Data Team,  Prepares and processes personnel actions for resignations, terminations, new hires, promotions, transfers, reallocations, extended leaves, etc. with associated data-entry keying requirements: Receives approved HR Action forms, verifies information, and prepares for data entry. Accurately and in accordance with timetable enters information into the (SAP) Human Resource Management System (HRMS) by prioritizing workload and using effective dating as efficiency tool. Sends copies of screens with brief description of hiring action to Payroll and IT for audits and for final processing of actions. Prepares variety of HRMS reports for monitoring of tasks, Periodic Increment Dates (PIDs), employee status, etc. Processes new hires and separating employees:  Prepares appointment letters (electronic mailing issued for most notifications, communications and file copies to supervisors, managers, and directors). Researches employees’ state employment history for periodic increment applicability or audits for inaccuracies. Enters into HRMS, creation, reallocation, abolishment, and relationship changes to positions. WORKING CONDITIONS:  Work Setting, including hazards:  Work is performed in a confidential office setting, work is fast-paced and high-volume. Schedule:    Typical schedule is 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday. Workload demands may require work outside the assigned work hours and adjustment of work schedules. Travel Requirements:     Occasional travel may be required throughout the State to attend trainings, meetings, and conferences. Tools and Equipment:    Computer hardware, software, and general office equipment. Qualifications
Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Four (4) years of office experience.           OR  A Bachelor’s degree with focus on business, human resources, social or organizational behavioral sciences, or a related field.            OR Equivalent education/experience. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Six (6) months of experience using the State’s Human Resource Management System (HRMS) payroll software or a similar software.
