Hunter check station operator duties will be conducted at John C. and Mariana Jones/Hungryland Wildlife and Environmental Area ( during the fall deer/hog and spring turkey hunting seasons. The hunter check station operator is responsible for hunter check in/out, weighing/measuring harvested game and biological sample collection (including deer jawbone removal and Chronic Wasting Disease). Operator must be able to accurately and legibly complete data sheets, respond courteously to inquiries from the public. Operator must interact with Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission’s Law Enforcement Officers, and represent the Agency in a professional manner while providing service to the public. The hunter check station is located approximately 6.5 miles west of Jupiter at the Hungryland WEA Main Entrance and is operated from sunrise to 2 hours past sunset during the Archery, Muzzleloading Gun and General Gun quota hunts and from sunrise to 3:00pm during the Spring Turkey hunts. • Archery Season: September 8-11, 15-18, 22-25 and September 29 - October 2, 2018 • Muzzleloading Gun Season: October 13-15, 2018 • General Gun Season: October 27-29, November 3-5 and 10-12, 2018 • Spring Turkey Season: March 16-31, 2019 (Saturdays, Sundays and Wednesdays only) To apply, please email your resume to Pamela Boody (
