- This position is responsible for working with the Institute for Natural Resources (INR), the Department of Environmental Science & Management (ESM), Center for Lakes and Reservoirs (CLR), and Berry Botanic Seed Bank at PSU staff to gather, collate, and disseminate information on invasive species found within Oregon, perform field work related to invasive species, rare species, and seed collection, assist with the Seed Bank, and other program support. The position includes administration of the Oregon iMap Invasives program and Oregon Invasive Species Hotline including solicitation and distribution of data and networking with regional invasives organizations for training and support. - Qualifications
- Required: Minimum education level includes a bachelor’s degree in botany, ecology, horticulture or related field. No previous experience required. Preferred: Preferred education level includes a graduate degree in botany, ecology, horticulture or related field and at least 1 year directly working with plants.
