Required Qualifications: • Earned Master’s Degree by January 1, 2022 in the Biological Sciences or a closely related field with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Biology • Effective communication and interpersonal skills • Willingness to engage with institutional student success initiatives • Commitment to engaging with best practice initiatives in instruction and pedagogy, mentoring, and curriculum design and development • Authorization to work in the United States for the duration of employment without assistance from the institution Preferred Qualifications: • Earned doctoral degree by January 1, 2021 in the Biological Sciences, or a closely related discipline • Experience preparing and teaching non-majors introductory biology courses • Experience preparing and teaching majors introductory biology courses • Experience preparing and teaching online courses
