Lake Management Services, LP is the oldest and largest lake management services company in Texas. The candidate will learn all aspects of urban waterway management. The candidate will work alongside a current foreman until prepared for advancement. General skills will be weed identification and treatment, aeration management, water well management and water quality (along with site specific tasks). The candidate must be insurable to drive a commercial vehicle. Work will be completely outdoors, in the elements, in a variety of outdoor situations. Full-time benefits available after a 90-day probationary period. All job offers the subject outcome of a drug test.
The position is relatively entry-level for a biologist. B.S. in biological sciences preferred. Otherwise, experience in aquatic fieldwork (chemical applications, etc) is preferred. The ability to multi-task, communicate (verbally and written), lead employees and focus in less than desirable conditions is a must. Must be able to drive a commercial vehicle and be insured. All work is done in the field, including all computer-related reporting. Mechanical aptitude is a plus.
