Student will compile and analyze data from bluegill populations across the Midwest to determine factors influencing growth and size structure. This information will be used to assess how climate change may affect bluegill fisheries in the future. The project involves some field work but is primarily an analytical exercise that is part of a larger research collaboration with the Center for Limnology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
BS in Fisheries, Biology, Ecology or related field with GPA ≥ 3.0 and verbal and quantitative GRE scores ≥ 150.
