The Environmental Institute of Houston (EIH) is recruiting a dedicated graduate research assistant to conduct research including detailed collection, entry and analysis of bottlenose dolphin population and health data in Galveston Bay, Texas. The position will entail a combination of field and office work.
Bachelor’s degree in marine/wildlife/conservation biology, ecology, or related field. The applicant must apply for and be admitted into the UHCL graduate M.S. Environmental Science program. Previous boat operation, wildlife management and marine mammal field and photo-identification experience is highly desirable.
Qualifying candidates must apply for and be accepted into the M.S. graduate program in Environmental Science within the College of Science and Engineering at the University of Houston - Clear Lake, for Summer or Fall 2018 semester.
