- Description
- MS assistantship to start either summer or fall 2023. Fall and Spring semesters will be spent on campus at Clemson University and summers will be spent at The Jones Center, a 30,000 acre longleaf pine conservation area in south Georgia. This project will investigate: - Factors affecting the ecology of eye gnats in longleaf forests - Management and repellent methods of eye gnats Please submit CV and letter of interest to Dr. Jess Hartshorn (jhartsh@clemson.edu), and Dr. Kier Klepzig (kier.klepzig@jonesctr.org)
- Qualifications
- B.S. in entomology, forestry, ecology, or related field. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. *Student must commit to spending summers at The Jones Center in Newton, GA for fieldwork and data collection.
