MS research assistantship in the Department of Oceanography and Coastal Sciences at LSU. The position will be part of a larger team studying Greater Amberjack in the Gulf of Mexico. Successful completion of the degree will include coursework and a research thesis on an aspect of the project that will be developed but may include estimating abundance, sampling techniques, age and growth, maturity, or other fisheries science topics.
