The Environmental Toxicology Department invites applications for research assistantships beginning Fall 2019. Applicants may conduct research in a variety of areas depending on interest. Research areas include: Analytical Toxicology, Aquatic Toxicology, Biochemical and Molecular Toxicology, Biological Threats in the Environment, Ecotoxicology, Environmental Law and Policy, Epidemiology, Human Health Sciences, Modeling and GIS, Nonwoven and Advanced Materials, and Wildlife Toxicology. A full list of faculty interests and research projects are available on our webpage. We are encouraging prospective applicants to submit a resume, research interests, and a list of courses for pre-screening to Dr. Kamaleshwar Singh.
Generally, a strong background in the natural, physical, or health sciences will provide the necessary preparation. Because of the multidisciplinary nature of environmental toxicology, prospective students should contact the Graduate Advisor (Kamaleshwar Singh: firstname.lastname@example.org) to discuss prerequisites and prior training. Qualified applicants will need to meet the entrance requirements of the Graduate School at Texas Tech as well as the Department of Environmental Toxicology.
