- Description
- EKU’s Division of Natural Areas is hiring a Natural Resource Management Crew Coordinator. This is a full time position with benefits. The crew coordinator will organize student training and supervise field activities related to trail maintenance and construction, invasive species management, prescribed fire, establishing native warm season grasses and pollinator gardens, and forest management.
- Qualifications
- Experience or interest in supervising field activities with undergraduate wildlife management, agriculture, and natural resource management majors who will be working in paid internship positions. Ability to work with agency professionals to organize training events for students. Preferred experiences: hand tool use, trail maintenance and construction, prescribed fire, tractor and implement operation, chain saw, pesticide application.
