- Description
- The Restoration Technician assists with the maintenance and improvement of outdoor natural areas undergoing habitat restoration. Includes invasive species control by several methods. Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, occasional Saturday, and 1-2 noon into evening shifts in May and June working with volunteers. This position is eligible for a $.50/$1.00 per hour bonus program. Bonus amounts are based on the number of hours worked while in the seasonal role. Full bonus criteria and eligibility details will be provided to all finalists.

- Minimum Job Qualifications: Strong interest in restoration of native habitats Ability to identify common trees, shrubs and weed species in various stages of growth One summer of related field work experience Able to take accurate field notes including mapping Able to bend and stoop while working At least 18 years of age Possess a valid driver's license
