- Description
- The primary duties of this position are to assist Idaho Department of Fish and Game biologists with the collection of fisheries data. Secondarily, this position may assist Avista or Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks biologists with similar work. Fieldwork duties include sampling fish using various gear types and other field duties as assigned. This position is intended span July 1–October 31. Benefits will NOT be included but housing may be negotiable.
- Qualifications
- Applicant must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. The successful applicant must be self-motivated, able to work independently at times, and have good attention to detail. In addition, the applicant must have the ability to work with minimal supervision, keep accurate records, adapt to varying work schedules, perform moderate to strenuous physical labor, and work outside in a variety of weather conditions. Must possess a valid driver’s license. Other combinations of education/experience may be considered.
