As a Natural Resources technician working for the US Corps of Engineers you will be working on and around Lake Sakakawea in North Dakota. These positions will work under the noxious weed and habitat programs. The applicant will be expected to hike in adverse conditions over uneven terrain, drive 4x4 pickup trucks, haul 16 foot utility trailers, utilize ATV's for noxious weed control, participate in native prairie restorations, participate in habitat projects and more activities as assigned. Knowledge of basic scientific sampling/ data collection methods is preferred but not required. All job responsibilities below will be trained for on the job and existing knowledge of the job responsibilities is not required. Start dates for the job are flexible. 3 or more years of college-level education leading to a degree in natural resources management or a related field. All responsibilities will be trained for on the job.
