Clerks will be stationed at multiple locations in states bordering the Ohio River. Specific position locations are flexible and will include places like: Monaca, PA; Steubenville, OH; Marietta, OH; Parkersburg, WV; Huntington, WV; Portsmouth, OH; Cincinnati, OH; New Albany, IN; Louisville, KY; Tell City, IN; and Evansville, IN.

The Ohio Division of Wildlife, West Virginia Division of Natural Resources, Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission, and Indiana Department of Natural Resources are hiring up to 15 creel survey clerks at locations bordering the Ohio River for a cooperative survey of Ohio River anglers. Creel clerks will interview anglers at Ohio River fishing access sites to obtain effort, catch, harvest, and human dimensions information. These positions will consist of 30–40 hours per week and require morning, evening, and weekend work. Applicants must be able to travel to multiple survey locations. Positions will begin in January and March 2021. Ability to interact with the public, willingness to work outdoors in inclement weather, and proficient at identifying sport fish; interest in fishing, conservation, or fisheries management would be helpful; must have a valid driver’s license.
