Job summary and responsibilities: The Field Technician’s primary role is to identify and remove noxious weeds using manual removal. Additional duties will include daily record keeping, clean-up and maintenance/repair of equipment. The Technician will earn $17/hr with a $1 raise every month. Overtime is encouraged during the busy spring season. No experience is needed; we will train the right applicant. This job demands that you are physically active and is a great opportunity to work outside. You will learn to identify noxious weeds in the Great Yellowstone Ecosystem, and be part of the effort to preserve these habitats using alternatives to traditional herbicides. Fill-in Crew: Temporary workers that fill in during the busy spring season (mid May – end of June) or whenever extra help is needed.
