Arrowhead Ranch is a residential science camp where learning is fun and hands on! Located in the beautiful San Bernardino Mountains in Southern California, we work primarily with 5th and 6th grade students through the school year. Our curriculum focuses on earth and life sciences, teamwork, character building and leadership. The Outdoor & Environmental Educator works with students both on the trails and in the cabins delivering a high quality program. Educators will act both as the Naturalist who teach on the trails, or as the Cabin Leader who teaches in the cabins and is responsible for the care and well-being of students; and sometimes both! Our educators play games, do experiments and use inquiry based learning to challenge students to learn about the natural world and develop critical thinking skills. The program operates the School season - September to June - and we only work weekdays, no weekends or holidays. Candidates must enjoy the outdoors as our program operates in all weather conditions. The Arrowhead Ranch Experience is an exciting, life-changing and rewarding adventure!!!
