DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Management Technician, you will provide professional Geographic Information System (GIS) and geospatial technologies planning, design, training, analysis, database, global position systems (GPS) and mapping support for regional and program staff. You will be the primary point of contact and advisor for GIS software and application use for the north-central part of the state. Additionally, you will be responsible for working closely with state and federal agencies on GIS planning related programs, including GIS platforms. In this role, you will produce detailed map graphics for a diversity of projects using GIS and graphics software applications; provide professional GIS planning and design for State Game Land comprehensive management plans involving multi-disciplined functions including but not limited to wildlife biology, forestry, engineering and real estate.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
Three years of advanced clerical or para-professional work which included the collection, recording, compilation, and presentation of office management or program related information, or any equivalent combination of experience and training. An Associate's Degree may be substituted for two years of required experience.
